M A U V E
A R C A N E__B O T A N I S T
An aspiring botanist in her youth, Mauve left her home clan to travel abroad. She eventually made her way to the Everbloom Gardens, where she made her home among a welcoming clan who shared her ambitions. Pursuing her passion for plants, she joined a team of bright minds and dedicated years of her life to developing edible plant hybrids that could flourish in even the harshest of climates. It was here she met her mate, a charmingly humble Guardian who was charged with couriering their goods across the realms. On one journey to the Southern Icefields, he never came back. More went looking for him, and never returned.
Desperate to find out the fate of her lost love, Mauve left her home to travel the world once more, seeking aid from anyone who was willing. Weeks turned to months, and months turned to years. She turned her eye to magic and the arcane, and eventually found a dragon who could help, albeit at a cost. It was revealed that her love had lost his life during his journey though the Cloudscrape Crags, having succumbed to the freezing temperatures. She knew where he had fallen, and knew that she could never reach him. Shortly after, the ritual began taking it's toll, blackening her talons and leaving glowing runic markings etched into her scales. Eldritch eyes opened on her skin, peering out from the abyss she had so foolishly reached into in exchange for knowledge. Understanding of her blight and grief, the dragon aiding her offered Mauve a home in the clan he served under, where she remains to this day. She faithfully maintains and guards the Coral Archives, keeping everything orderly and in it's rightful place. She has published several works in the time it's taken for her to mend her life, and continues her pursuit of knowledge, integrating her love of plants with what she's learned of the arcane. |

Bob was originally nothing more than a standard boring old houseplant, albeit one that Mauve tended to diligently. One day a spell that was meant to change his color gifted him with sentience instead; or perhaps he's inhabited by some sort of spirit now? She's not entirely sure to be honest, but he's good company nonetheless. Much to Mauve's surprise, Bob seems to know how to tend to other plants, even the perfectly normal ones. He can often detect if something is wrong or if the plant is in need of something before signs of such are visible. |

M A T E__&__O F F S P R I N G
Mauve is mated to her long time sweetheart Fluffy, whose life had been lost during his travels through the Cloudscrape Crags. Through newfound allies and questionable practices, the two were eventually reunited, and her love for him is as strong now as it was all those years ago. His recovery comes at the cost of the duo's sworn loyalty to Murkwater. Their children are sworn to serve the needs of the clan and do so eagerly, often enlisting to aid Murkwater's Warband or leaving to assist the clan's allies. |
