Amara had a fascination with how the healing of a dragons body worked, ever she witnessed her grandfather getting wounded so badly, everyone in her former Clan thought he would not make it to the next morning. She felt helpless and pained, as no one in that earth Clan had any knowledge of even simple medicine... But then a miracle happened; a stranger came seemingly out of nowhere and he had the right treatments for Amara's grandfather. The old dragon survived because of him. Because of Val.

When he left, Amara wouldn't forget about the strange mysterious Fae. She would dream of the short interactions she had with him. How easy it was for the Fae to treat her grandfather. If he had not been there.. Amara became obsessed with the thought of learning medical treatments herself. Her mother and father had both died because her Clan had no doctors. Her siblings all left because they could not stand the pain of living in an environment that reminded them of their parents every single day...
If she could learn how to heal dragon, she would never have to helplessly wait for a loved ones inevitable demise. She would never have to loose anyone to an illness ever again.

No one in her Clan could teach her anything medical, so those thoughts wouldn't lead her anywhere for a couple of years. Only after her grandfather died of old age, did she finally set out to find someone who's apprentice she could become. Destiny decided to make her stumble right across the same Doctor again. Val. The mysterious Fae.

______ Val was part of the ghostly wisps Clan,.and of their Twilight Circus. He traveled among them to treat any wounds that came from injuries during their show. But he treated other dragons as well, if their paths met somehow. Val remembered Amara from a couple of years back. She asked to become his apprentice. Val would have refused but he saw a fire in her eyes,.and her passion, so he did accept.
Amara tried her best ever since, to learn as much as possible about medicine, and to be helpful for those around her. The clan of the ghostly wisps' where she was living now, became her family over time.
Amara made it a habit to always carry plants around with her. Specifically plants that where good for making medicine and treating wounds.

______ After spending lots of time with Val, she eventually developed a secret crush on the doctor. He didn't seem interested in her in the slightest though, so she didn't ever dare to tell him.
