Despite being a high accomplished fire mage, I feel as though the woods are where I belong. When I look around, I can't help but be in awe of all that is around me. I also feel as though being able to command fire just makes me part of the life cycles. Forests must burn to have new life. Fire isn't just destructive. It's also lively and warm. I love being able to use it. It is dangerous though. I am wise enough to be able to admit that. It is not an easy element to control.

I've chosen to spend most, if not all, of my time alone in the woods. Sometimes, if I have the time and have no duties in the village, I'll travel elsewhere to practice my magic. I feel to be able to truly find my center and find what fire means to me, I need to be alone. Not everything can be done with the help of others. I appreciate the input of the other mages in the village, but fire is the most destructive element. The sea is my favorite place to practice. I bought a fishing boat which I take out into the middle of the water and practice on. It's ideal. On top of that, it smells nice.
