matisse had made up her mind a long time ago. she would not die.

she had stopped to speak to strangers in the boneyard, like a fool, and they decided that they didn't like what she had heard, and had her killed for it. tried to. a botched holy death in the wyrmwound turned into her a monster, and the strangers decided to keep her instead

- ena honed in on her for whatever reason when he joined and she just went with it


- silberfuchs kept an eye on her for sake of ena, but ragbala went out of his way to befriend her
- they're still besties




- liutra doesn't care about the other holyhealers all that much, not out of callousness but she forgot. she did grow up at the ward and remembers Matisse creeping around
- ragbala and lunasie were able to get her back home long enough for her to formulate a treatment plan for her
- took like 60 years but we did ittt

- ragbala has been draining the plague godsmagic off her from the wyrmwound, but it left internal scarring on her natural fire magic which made things difficult
- ye old plastic surgery wasn't happening
- lunasie was able to make a glamour to cover everything up instead
- ena breathed down her neck the whole time trying to make choices for himself but lunasie shut that down and tried to replicate her natural face shape, etc. nobody knows what she originally looked like
- liutra attached the glamour in a permanent manner and set up a loop so the plague magic wouldn't burn it out


- still blind, her eyes are glass
- ena chased off liudelyna when she tried to see what she could do to redirect her vision to magic instead of eyes

Despite having been submerged in the Wyrmwound for several seconds, the magical scarring is at a minimum. - Ragbala, Head Holyhealer The only time Matisse was at risk of dying was when our Lord Chieftain pushed her into the Wyrmwound in the first place. She is completely blind and severely scarred, but isn't actively at risk of dying. I have bi-weekly checkups with her, and given her typical sleep aids and such, but honestly, she's fine. - Naomi, Head Medic Matisse is of a state of health that renders her fairly fragile and unable to live the life of a average dragon. She is not unstable to need constant care, but she can't live on her own. I have taken her into my own household, as she is the widow of one of my dear friends. - Silberfuchs, Head Surgeon Seeing as she can't do much, Matisse is officially my assistant caretaker.
