Sin is not a dragon. It is a creature born of darkness who takes the form of a female Fae. Coaxoch predicted its birth several months before it was born, explaining that dark times would befall the clan, and that their sins were too great.

On the day of Sin's birth, the world stood still for a moment, and great shadows appeared to consume the sun. The shadows pooled together to form its egg, which radiated a powerful evil. Tempest stared at the egg, and deemed the monster inside far too dangerous for her clan. Making a quick judgement, she smashed the egg with her tail.

Instead of destroying Sin, Tempest's actions only served to bring the birth of the creature a few weeks early. Sin rose from the squashed mess of the egg. At birth, its skeleton was on the outside of its body. However, it was also immensely weak, unable to do anything more than flicker meekly in and out of existence.

Sin slowly started to feed off of the sins of the dragons in the lair. At first, it was unable to speak in more than a few strange and guttural growling noises. But as if fed off the dragons it slowly started to become more intelligent and capable of speaking the dragon tongue. At first, Sin's speech was broken like a hatchling's. As it learned, things it said became more and more horrifying. It started to read a dragon's soul by being in their presence. Sin would then recite the dragon's sins in a cold voice, a sinister grin revealing rows of needle-like teeth.

It slowly started to be able to manipulate the souls of weaker dragons who surrounded her. A whisper in an ear, a sly word, it was strong enough to get some dragons to perform sinful acts, which it fed on to grow stronger.

With the birth of Perfection, Sin's wavering form finally solidified. Sin has finally become tangible. It is now capable of causing physical harm to any dragon. It will often scrape its claws against dragon scales while laughing eerily. Sin is in its 'parasite form' now that it is capable of touching dragons. It often latches onto dragons and feeds on their sins, corrupting their minds and turning them into creatures the clan refers to as 'shadows.' These creatures serve Sin for several weeks before their corruption grows so great and they are forcefully exalted. These dragons feed Sin their soul energy and their bodies go to the deities as lifeless shells.

Everyone is a sinner deep down. Let me reveal your Sin.
