- the path cannot be memorized as it is ever-changing much like a labyrinth. a small chosen few who have earned the favor of the Sentinels are granted knowledge of the fog's constant movements, able to be seen in one's mind
- knowledge of the fog comes with persistent whispers, echoes, and rumblings throughout one's mind; warning of the changing dangers or, on occasion, luring one toward them. it's almost as if the fog is a sentient creature
- doesn't speak much, and when she does it's usually the standard Icedrift greeting or farewell
