As the chief trainer in the clan, Hiwa holds a lot of responsibility! She is a living construct of flame and lava, and her warmth often entices hatchlings to nestle around her for a short nap. She loves working with young dragons, and despite what her fiery exterior would suggest, she is quite patient, much like the warm, comforting flame of the hearth. Her massive molten wartoad assists her in training, as he provides the perfect target for fledglings to test their attacks upon. He sits through it patiently because it's hilarious watching these bean sized fledglings trying to throw a punch or kick.

In battle, she is a sight to behold. Her speed is legendary (though rumor has it that one of her students has surpassed her quickness....), and her tough skin of magma helps her to shrug off most attacks. Woe betide those who underestimate this force of nature.

She is also quite fond of toads.
