If you call them anything ending in -core or -wave, I will feed you to the void. XP was and still is a damn fine OS with a damn fine aesthetic and is not yours to fold into any pretentious subculture based on fake nostalgia for things you never experienced and/or didn't happen. Also, it was my childhood.

I couldn't find many references I 100% got but fgdfgh I just had to bring up Ms Paint... They're absolutely lovely. Superior art program, straight up facts.

who needs photoshop, paint tool, clipart or medibang when you got the superior program: MS Paint?

This one is due to nostalgia. I'm pretty sure i had folders and trapper keepers with this loepard/jaguar cub from lisa frank that looked just like this. Love everything about this one. The sludge secondary with the purple shifting tones is adding a nice touch too!

I love MicrosoftPaint with all my heart and love them more after reading their bio, spitting straight facts lmao. Internet subcultures will come and go but MSPaint will always be the tool that taught me digital art; so I tip my cowboy hat to this beautiful creature. The jag/sludge combo is great as well!

okay THIS JUST TOOK ME ON A NOSTALGIA TRIP...THE DAYS OF MS PAINT LONG PAST...back in those innocent days i would draw critters like them, and i gotta say, what a perfect specimen of a dragon. absolutely eyesearing, as they should be. i love

First, that name is fantastic (MicrosoftPaint), MicrosoftPain is also relatable-
I'm a sucker for bright colors (despite what my lair may tell you)
I love how despite all the bright colors they blend so well together! I think the darker wings really complement the bright body. What a lovely lad, indeed.

Microsoft paint. My old enemy. But lets focus on the dragon, not the program; I love eyeburners, and obviously they struck out in the menu with those colors. I’ve not much to say, honestly; i just love bright bois.

MicrosoftPaint searing my eyes right outta my head, in the best way.

I WANNA STEAL THEM SO BAD!!! i love their colors and their apparel. eyeburner dragons are my fave so it was really hard to only choose JUST one from your Hewn HOA & Nightcored realm tab

I love eyeburners, and MicrosoftPaint looks so cool! The way jaguar in radioactive looks on them is amazing. I'm really enamored with how radioactive looks with a lot of genes! I think I might have to start seeking out some radioactive dergs to add to my own lair.
Their apparel also works great on them! The wing garland paired with the wing drapes looks particularly nice. I'm a sucker for both moons and flowers, so it's a great combination!

You have alot of eyebleed colour dragons in your lair (I love em all dont get me wrong) but obviously MicrosoftPaint is a great fluffy guy. My friend Clams lore for them is fun too and the thought of them just not answering any questions about their name is great. Like my brother in Arcanist that does not answer anything.

Alright, obviously, the first order of business if their name. How did they get their hands on such a prestigious title, if they themselves are not strong enough for such a thing?
The first thing that came to mind was that MSPaint stole that name. Had been plotting for ages to sneak into the act of a powerful dragon's scrying, before just making off with the name like a fae (the mythical kind, not the dragon); robbing some poor guy of their really cool and awesome Earth name because it's Theirs Now, Idiot!!!
So imagine this. This obnoxiously flashy coatl somehow stealthily hiding out in the home of a really powerful dragon within the Hewn Suburbs (I'm sure there's someone in there, edgelord or otherwise), waiting hours. Days. Perhaps even months for this dragon to take out a scrying bowl and get scrying.
Never losing patience. Never revealing themself. Only sometimes stealing food out of the cupboard and making off with it into the attic like a rat.
(Honestly, all things considered, the homeowner probably knew someone was there. Why they didn't do anything... I have no idea. Maybe just didn't really care enough.)
Until finally, it happened. In anticipation, the coatl - whatever their name was before doesn't matter - watched and listened.
And heard... the marvelous words.
"MicrosoftPaint."
Amazing. Spectacular. Why is the soft micro. What does paint have to do with it. They don't know, but that's their name now.
MicrosoftPaint.
Perfect.
Feeling incredibly proud of themself for their long endeavor having a fruitful ending, MSPaint casually strode out of their hiding spot, right past the dragon they'd just duped into giving them a name, and straight out the door.
Since the name theft, MSPaint has become one of the most insufferable dragons in the Hewn HOA. Which is really saying something, considering the neighbors.
Holds themself very highly, with a sort of self-righteous air around them. If ever asked how they got that name, they scoff, fluff up their feathers, make a huge spectacle of themselves before just going "It's all mine."
Which does not answer any questions.
Outside of that, though, they're one of the least remarkable dragons in the Hewn HOA. Absolutely insufferable, sure, but... like normal. Ish. As normal as you can be around here.
