Biography

Before the war ends:
He was once a bio weapon made by the angel dragons' government, but escaped. After doing so, he lost his memories of the research institute and all the pain he suffered there. He wandered into a slum in the remote areas of the country and met his childhood mate, Glynn, who was an orphan. Since Azul couldn't remember who he was and where he came from, the two little dragons lived together in order to make it through the harsh slum life.

After several years, they both joined the angel dragon army once they realize that they would be fed free food as soldiers. While Azul showed talents for speed and physical power, his magic was poor in comparison, and considered below the average level for his species. Because the angel dragons' physical power is weak in comparison to their magical prowess, the latter is the best suited for confronting their centuries-old foes, the demon dragons. Azul wasn't upset about his lack of magical skills, and on the contrary, used his physical power to its fullest. Because of his condition, he can easily enter a state of being which very few other angel dragons can reach--and only after they have consumed all of their magic--corruption.

It was during a battle in a valley with the demon dragons' crew where he met Oro. Azul seldom came into contact with an opponent who could fight him for as long a period as Oro did, so Oro left a strong impression on him. But while the battle raged, disaster fell to both sides--the dragons were hit by a sudden landslide. Doing all that he could, Azul ran into a cave to escape it, and saw that his old friend, Glynn, was hit by a huge rock and disappeared. After the tragedy, he was astonished to find a demon dragon in the cave with him: and the demon dragon was Oro.

By that time, Azul didn't really know who Oro was, only that had just suffered the loss of his best friend. So he fought against his enemy.

But Oro told him that they had to work together, as neither him nor Azul could hope to survive the disaster all by themselves. Azul managed to calm down and accept the proposal, while Oro handled the situation much more calmly. Then again, Azul was never really a supporter of the angel-demon war all along, all he cared about was Glynn. The two enemies slowly began to sit down and talk, with Oro offering to share his food with Azul. Though he still couldn't really trust him, Azul knew there were no other options.

After exchanging information, the two dragons were stunned to find out that their respective clan leaders were lying to them. While the war had begun over competition for energy, it soon expanded and became uncontrollable. Knowing the truth, and how Glynn had been uselessly sacrificed almost made Azul collapse. Oro was shocked as well, and immediately made up his mind to abandon the fake war cause as soon as he returned to his homeland.

After a long time surviving together, the two dragons finally escaped from the cave. During the escape, however, an Oro saved Azul from an incident while they were running along a narrow bridge. He just grabbed Azul, holding him in his arms, and ran. (This might have made Azul's heart skip a few beats, or not.) Afterwards, the two parted ways and went back to their homelands.

But judgement awaited Azul upon his return. He was accused of being a deserter by his superiors. After being sentenced, some of his team members' relatives and friends enforced upon him an illegal punishment--they broke Azul's right horn and halo. But Azul didn't resist, as the only person who could have helped him was gone.

The superiors assigned him a new position and sent him to a swamp, where the boundary line lay. There, Azul took part in patrols, enduring the harsh environment and wearing a mask to protect from the toxic gases in the area. One day, he strayed too far and accidentally crossed the border line. A demon dragon team caught him, and attempted to take him back. Just as suddenly, one of them suggested that they instead execute him on the spot. Agreeing with this, his colleagues departed, leaving him along with Azul. Then the demon dragon slowly turned his head back to them, after he was sure they were gone.

"Azul...? How did you come here?"

It was Oro. Azul didn't know what to say. He followed Oro, and eventually they came to a safe place with less toxic gases. Opening up to Oro's friendly gestures, Azul began to tell him about what he had suffered at the hands of his own kind. They started to meet with each other every day, but things didn't last that way for long. One day, Azul found out that someone was trailing him, and after analyzing the situation knew that he would either be killed, or have his halo completely shattered should he ever return to his camp. There was no longer a place for him among the angel dragons.

That's how he ended up in Oro's home. Oro managed to sneak him back into his country and kept the little angel dragon in his own house. The story of their love unfolded there too.

Azul didn't really know much about that emotion--he's new to the feeling of love, and is always too nervous to show his true feelings to Oro. But Oro handles this gently, as after all, he's also had a crush on Azul too. Finally, the two lovebirds admit their feelings to each other after one year and a half together.

After the war:

The war ended quickly. With both sides becoming increasingly weary, the superiors of both clans decided to sign an armistice agreement. Of course, while there were still people who refused to accept the peace, most could now breathe a sigh of relief--the war had taken too much from them. Azul could finally openly show his relationship with Oro. He found a job in the angel dragons' police force, and now lives a happy life with his boyfriend.
