Living in the Scarred Wasteland might mean most dragons in the clan don’t care for their appearance, which would be true, but Kauri believes every dragon needs an opportunity to bring out their natural beauty and get some much needed R&R after a long day of working in the wastes. She operates the Common Pride Spa located in, of course, the commons. She is very social and loves to chat, but is comparatively much more laid back than other Spirals, especially given her young age. She has often been compared to a Tundra in personality, having a poor memory of specific events and conversations, but a compassionate heart who recognizes a friend when she sees one.

Kauri was born male, but from the day she learned her first words, she knew she would much rather be like the other young female dragons of the lair. She developed an especially strong taste for beauty and self-maintenance, and wanted nothing more than to share this with other dragons. However, when she began to travel the world as an adult, many dragons seemed uncomfortable trusting her to care for their needs, and she quickly realized (much to her disgust) it was on account of being transgender. Yet ever the optimist, Kauri kept her chin up and continued looking for a place to put her love for uplifting the image of other dragons to use. She eventually came across The Clan of the Wounded and became well-acquainted with its large population of queer dragons, and from there, firmly decided this was where she would put down roots and establish her spa. The Common Pride Spa is now where she spends a majority of her time, talking up clients and helping her fellow clanmates bring out the best of what they find to be their own image of beauty.
