Avis's prime drive in life has been to unlock the universe's mysteries. This led to many, many discoveries--not all of which were, uh, expected or conducive to one's life expectancy. But that was what made life so Fascinating.

Teammates

Unlike his beloved mate, Nadina, Avis didn't mind the constant change of clan and scenery. It only meant more opportunity for discovery, for new and challenging perspectives. However, when it seemed they'd settled in this new small, but growing clan Wandering Tree, Avis had to admit their lack of resentment towards his explorations was a refreshing change of pace. As a bonus, the clan's migratory habits through the labyrinth offered countless opportunities for study.

Nature magic had always been a source of ceaseless wonder to Avis, despite being so deadly to his own arcane element. It was in some part responsible for his initial courting of Nadina. After all, she was a genius spellcaster in her own right as a nature healer. Living in the Viridian Labyrinth, the heart of the nature flight, revealed so many possibilities, so many discoveries. Avis, in spite of a few allergic and other adverse reactions, had truly found his bliss. Because of this, he happily took on the role of the clan's personal spellcaster (even if they sometimes wished he'd find another, less hazardous occupation).
