Biography

LoreElder Meridion ap Stellazia

As a brilliant glow nearly blinds you, Meridion starts to mumble in agitation, his claws working to quickly transcribe notes into a document. You cannot make out exactly where the light is coming from, but it might be a crystal, or something similar, laying on that table over there?

You try to ask Meridion what is going on, but he tells you that his experiment is volatile and for your own safety you need to leave. When you don't budge, his frills stiffen and he bellows at you, "COME BACK LATER!"

Yikes, time to go!

Story Title: An Equal and Opposite Reaction
Premise: During one of Meridion's more unstable experiments an unexpected result occurs and when the smoke clears things are a little... off... To Wade's amusement and Meridion's dismay he has been altered from a Guardian into a pearless Pearlcatcher... and his scales have changed color, too!


  • Meridion is a keeper of knowledge. He keeps meticulous records, but his primary passion is his experiments. He once minded all the clan's Lore, but now oversees efforts with Baldwin.
  • While a stickler for protocol and decorum, which often leads to Meridion acting offended or disdainful, he very rarely turns away those wanting his advice or to hear about his experiments.
  • His Charge is Clan Elysia's "Balcony", a ruined yet sturdy tower connected to the Tunnels where he has settled in. From there he can do his experiments with astronomy, astrology, alchemy, chemistry and so forth (without worrying about blowing up the lairs)
  • Meridion has taken Evenstar under his wing and shares his knowledge and thoughts with her. In his eyes, she is a favorite "niece", though they are not related.
  • Despite his constant complaints and sighs, Meridion has befriended Arinwade and the two are often found sharing drinks.
