umbriel emerged from a realm of shadow. his mysterious presence brought discomfort to the small tribe, who grew very wary of him and his odd manner of speech. he recluses in the darker portions of the meadow, inscrutably scrawling his prophecies of doom into his hut's stone walls. his familiar perches on a conveniently sized branch just outside a cave entrance, scaring off any would-be intruders with his shrieking and gnashing teeth. umbriel seems tied to the earth to an unnatural degree, further isolating himself from the other residents.
