light bleeds into the forest floor, beneath jade canopies of trees and overgrowing vines. you feel a calm, warm peace washing over you, and your aching muscles begin to ease. all of your wounds slowly seam up, and you are basking in the light of this newly discovered sanctuary.

this land wasn't always a sacred place. a long time ago, there existed a place that seemed to be forgotten by all others. in a vast thicket, beyond the reach of the light from the sun, there resided a small village of dragons, nested in a large orchard of willow trees. these dragons did just fine despite being cut off from other factions. one day, however, a terrible plague ravaged the poor town and extinguished all life... all except for one. his name was fever, and with tremendous resolve, he coughed the fire from his lungs and burned the trees that covered them to cinders. finally, he had been spotted. and now the world knew of the village. a statue of fever sits near the entrance of the clan, covered in moss and tiger lilies in honor of his resilience.

now, the clan is a humble plot of dragons working to expand their lives. every day is a new chance at success and happiness, and the general public is nearly hellbent on pursuing that goal.
