Sombra

||The Warrior||



Powerful and deadly Sombra is on her target faster than their own shadow. Part of the original fighting squad she has never backed down from a battle and continues with Opito to train and become stronger with each passing day. Under her rather frightful exterior she longs for the chance to raise her own child and train them under her gaze. Recently she has removed her harrowing armour after realising she doesn’t need to look intimidating as her raw power is intimidation enough, her unusual eyes pierce even the most frightful of dragons. Despite being a wind flight dragon it seems her time in the arcane land has changed her body, an interesting shade of glorious purple has slowly emerged over the years, her new soft patterned intertwining with harsh scars from battles long since fought. She feels her new look is a thank you from the Arcanist for serving his land so well in her life.

Her charge is the All-Mother, while she won’t stand and guard her constantly she feels she does her duty by keeping the clan safe, however if anyone where to dare harm her she would be there before even the All-Father, ready to ruin the one who dares to even think of harming her. There have been several false alarms with this as she is very quick to the punch and friendly visitors to the clan who have come to meet the All-Mother might have been suddenly knocked off their feet by a powerful wind bolt. Her towering frame is incredibly intimidating, she often is the All-Mothers body guard for when she might ever leave the safety of the lair. Many have mistaken Sombra for the clans leader when she arrives on official business, only to have a small fae wrapped casually around her horns introduce herself as leader instead. Sombra has given many a death glare to anyone who thinks they shouldn’t take the All-Mother seriously due to her size but Kilde often resolves that herself.

Her relationship with the All-Mother is slightly different to most, she wouldn’t dare put herself higher than the All-Mother but many people have noticed she seems to treat the All-Mother as... well, a mother would! The pair seem to try and out do the other when it comes to care and protection causing many to see their relationship more on the level of sisters. Sombra has very motherly or at least caregiver relationships with a lot of clan members, Calana being another major one as the two bond over their original flights and the two care for each other in their more vulnerable moments. Although these bonds are not often known outside of the dragon she is caring for as these moments are incredibly private.

Sombra may not like to show it but her motherly nature makes her a very caring surrogate to all the new dragons that join the clan, if they arrive while still young she will check in on them regularly and bring them extra food here and there to make sure they grow up big and strong, if anyone catches her in the act she might hurl whatever food she has at you. Even if you think you’re far enough away she will use her wind abilities to make sure it carries far enough to hit you in the head no matter where you are. This is often a softer side of her not many get to see and would never let onto around someone like Salazar who’s always trying to make her crack that warrior exterior.
