Violet
The Queen
Castle - Halsey
I'm headed straight for the castle
They wanna make me their queen
And there's an old man sitting on the throne that's saying that
I probably shouldn't be so mean
I'm headed straight for the castle
They've got the kingdom locked up
And there's an old man sitting on the throne that's saying
I should probably keep my pretty mouth shut
I'm headed straight for the castle
They wanna make me their queen
And there's an old man sitting on the throne that's saying that
I probably shouldn't be so mean
I'm headed straight for the castle
They've got the kingdom locked up
And there's an old man sitting on the throne that's saying
I should probably keep my pretty mouth shut

She came from darkness, and from darkness she shall rule.
Violet was once a mess, a lost prophecy in the deepest caverns of the shadow's teritory. A Princess, wandering with her soulmate, Silas. It was only the glimmering cast of her shadow that led anyone to believe she even existed. When she emerged from the thicket, she truly began her harrowsome journey. She wasn't sure how long she will wander, or for what reason, but her trek continued.
Years passed, perhaps. Time only passed as it pleased, never bothering the two as they travelled deeper and deeper into plague territory. They met large packs of mirrors, savage and cruel, but paying them no mind Violet continued to lead, only heading further into the rotting lands.
It wasn't until they stopped in a field, Violet finally laying down to rest, did they notice how far they had come, for whatever resided in the cave system before them.
It was Silas who dared move first, peering into the entrance, only to be thrown back by the loathesome brute of Wildclaw, Kizerin, who screamed, guarding the entrance. As Silas looked on, the wildclaw shrieked again, rearing his head and his feathers, teeth jagged and sharp.
Things were at a standstill until a lonesome Guardian finally shambled out of the entrance, his scales brushing either side, he reeked of old plague magic, bones rattling off him as he walked. He stopped, his bones creaking, ignoring the wildclaw. He layed his head down, in front of Violet and Silas, his blindness now known as faint red pupils peeked outfrom behind a cover.
"Ah, we've been expecting you for a long time, your majesty. Our oracle has told us all about your coming. Now you've must had a long journey, please come inside and rest,"

Quote:
A Letter left from a visitor named Valkyrie
Violet, once she saw me, was quick to relieve Pestilence of my company. She held her head high while talking to me, but gave me the proper respect. And she agreed to a cup of tea rather quickly. That is always a good trait in my books, even if she had her own reasons for doing it. We mostly talked about the shafow lands, how they have changed over the years. For a dragon that apparently spent so long wandering our home lands, Violet has seen very few of our attractions. When I suggested that she return, for a short while - just to see our natural beauties - I do not believe she took it well. In any case I wish Violet the best, and I hope she is able to see the beauty in every place.
