(beska's been a battle medic for many years)
(after some severe damage, she was declared a fatality)
(pleaded to gladekeeper for her life and was rewarded)
(wood regeneration spell replaced her spine and left wing arm)
(it grew for many years, replacing shoulder, horn, and face when she was too near a canon, replacing her rear legs when she was crushed under a boulder)
(after the bark grew all the way up her wing arm, she prayed for the tree to stop)

(it seems her prayers were answered)

she has difficulty walking
(her shoulders and hips are entirely wood)
but it's harder for her to fly
(pine is dense and not as mobile as bone)
she has to make sure the leaves that grow on her wings get enough sunlight
otherwise she tires easily
