It's said that Nimbus was casting spells before he could speak full sentences. The frigid magic of ice has always come naturally to him, and most days he can be found hunched over a pile of old scrolls, feverishly reading the antiquated runes, his large frills constantly twitching and flicking. Nexus needs mental stimulation like other dragons need food or water. When he has nothing to study he becomes restless beyond measure, flitting around the heads of whatever dragon happens nearby out of sheer boredom.

He's asocial and hard to read, even for a fae. He's never learned to emote as other dragons do, or speak with intonation as they do, and to nearly everybody he meets this proves more than a little creepy. Deep down, he wishes he could change this aspect of himself, but his own social inexperience works against him. Even when he does try to forge relationships (such as with Altair, who he's always fancied) he finds himself searching for a reason to quit. It's easier to be the eccentric, solitary mage, he's found. Less likely to be hurt.
