Ugly

When a wandering young Angelus first met this Tundra in the heart of the Starfall Strand, she didn't remember much, but she knew that her name was Ugly. And despite many kind-hearted dragons since then telling her that she isn't really isn't ugly at all and that she could pick a new name, she has quite cheerfully continued to keep it as her own. And in fact, given her rather hideous taste in fashion, it practically suits her.

Ugly may have helped found the Pilgrim's Path Clan when she invited Angelus to share her den and the two of them proceeded to adopt other strays, but unlike Angelus, she has no interest in leadership. She is quite badly forgetful even for a Tundra, and if it weren't for Snowbert's patient reminders, she would remember practically nothing about any of her clanmates. She treats them all with the same absent-minded friendliness.

The one thing she does remember a lot about is the trees of the Starwood Strand. The ancient, enormous magical trees have a certain wisdom all of their own, and Ugly is always listening. She spends most of her days wandering the forest and communing with the trees, shadowed by her Guardian assistant Snowbert, whose Charge she is. He acts as her memory. The two of them wander in and out of the Clan's territory every few days, largely oblivious to the goings-on of the clan around them.
