Angelus

Angelus is a serious, fastidious, and focused Fae on a mission. When he was barely more than a hatchling, he flew off into the depths of the Starwood Strand, driven by the knowledge that he would find his fate under the winking blossoms of the trees. Within a very short time he had collected a following of dragons and established a new lair in the heart of the forest, dedicated to the mysteries of the Starwood and guiding travelers through it.

As the founder and nominal leader of the Pilgrim's Path Clan, Angelus spends much of his time involved in the minutiae of day-to-day life of the clan. Any dragons who have a disagreement bring it up to Angelus, and he will solemnly listen to both sides of the story before rendering judgement. He also keeps up lengthy correspondences with the leaders of various nearby clans via letters and messengers. And when he is not doing any of that, he is usually praying to the Arcanist, whom he always refers to respectfully as "Starfather" (in contrast to the rest of the clan's affectionate nicknames).

Although his sense of formality and devotion to his duty tends to put a barrier between him and everyone else, there are a few dragons with whom he is close. Ugly, the first dragon to join him and co-founder of the clan, can always manage to draw him out of whatever he's doing for a soft chat and a bit of relaxation. Whenever Wepwawet is in camp, she can usually be found hanging out somewhere near him, and the two of them often seem to communicate without talking. And of course, Lethe, his daughter by Wepwawet, can easily penetrate his every defense with her cheerful flippance. It's a common sight for the Pilgrim's Path Clan to see Lethe dragging her father out of his den as he complains bitterly about the work he has to do.
