During the veilspun prime, Malarkey was the archfey of the goldflecked tribe of veilspun. She was highly respected among her kin, and when she called the tribe for their wild hunt - they all would flock to her. And together, they would fly like a swarm of locusts. Malarkey basked in the adoration of her tribe, feeding on their love and devotion. She was blinded by it and didn't notice the uprising before it was too late.

Malarkey was overthrown and her execution was to happen at dawn. But her former loyal suspects had underestimated the true power she wielded. She summoned a huge magical explosion as the ultimate act of revenge. Most of her opposers perished in her raw magic and only a few managed to escape.

Malarkey revenge was cut short when the gaolers came to imprison her, freezing her fragile body and taking her to their fortress. And she would have spent the rest of the eternity as a frozen statue if a pair of gaolers didn't rise against their Order. Her prison shattered in the aftermath and Malarkey fled.

She returned to her former home, changed by the ice that had imprisoned her. But Malarkey didn't care, she had unfinished business to do. And to find the weeds, she joined the Fiends.
