Riannon loved being the daughter of two ambassadors. Traveling all over Sornieth was exciting to a small hatchling, and she found the Serthis clans her parents visited to be fascinating. Her entire family thought she would either follow in her mother's footsteps and become either an ambassador or some sort of traveler, but as a young adult dragon, she surprised them one day when she announced that she would be opening a tavern along with her best friend Honorclaw and his new fiancé Waspwing.
The Bard and Bee ended up being a huge success. Waspwing is an excellent tapster and Honorclaw secures them the best ingredients treasure can buy - at first, they were spending more than they were getting back, but it wasn't long before word caught on and travelers and locals alike packed in to taste Waspwing's brews, Riannon's comfort food, and Honorclaw's fresh fish. The only thing they were missing was an actual bard!
The name came from a poem the three of them wrote as hatchlings, but they really should have expected everyone to ask, 'okay but where's the bard?' Honestly, what were they expecting?
So, the search began. Webweaver agreed to play for them for awhile, but her melancholy dirges are hardly Tavern material. There were a few more disastrous attempts and the three of them were ready to give up when a tuxedo furred Gaoler wandered in with a dingy old lute. (WIP)
