SKYDANCER was a dragon born and raised in the Lightweaver's realm, he grew up on the Sundial terrace to a small tribe of dragons, His many eyes seen as a sign of intelligence, power, and strong magic. He didn't want to be what his family wanted him to be, Skydancer wanted to be an explorer and adventurer, but his family made him pursue archeology, trying to stamp out their disobedient free spirit, thinknig they just wanted to leave their studies to play and explore endlessly, they were afraid he'd end up meeting the wrong people or being in the wrong place at the wrong time ... His family was worried, and this is why they took these actions, but Skydancer always kept his true spirit secret from them, always going on little adventures. Skydancer's studies proved to be quite useful as he would go on little adventures, research about the ancient pas,t and the ruins they'd find! To his family, this is better than wgat they'd thought he was up to. Skydancer's family was all about tradition, truth, law and study.... They wanted the best for him, yes....but they just went about it in an unhealthy way, which led to Skydancer's issues with perfectionism, self-worth, and much more.

Skydancer would eventually become an archeologist, and researcher of the ancient past. He would often be seen staring in the direction of the Hewn City, but ...He was always prohibited from going there. Understandable, because it is a rather dangerous place.

When he left his clan, he said he was going to go to a different part of the realm with his group of scholar friends, to continue learning and studying! ....But instead... He took his chance and ran off, at the same time when the clan was breaking apart too! He was free! He could go wherever he wanted now!!

He went from place to place, glad the dragons that made up his clan went to different Deity's domains. So he could still live in or near the Promenade and not be seen and didnt have to hide!!

One day, he was flying over the forest near the promenade, and....Suddeny, a bright light flashed, and it blinded him for a moment, long enough to hurt really bad, he would go crashing into the woods, Where did he crash? a temple in ruins... A coatl dragon found him, one who ...Hadn't been there before when he was flying over.... They were surprised by Skydancer's crash and tried to help him... they were strange, awkward, eccentric and peculiar, they seemed to have difficulty communicating...But they knew healing magic, and it helped them heal Skydancer's injuries. Skydancer woke up, and thanked him, he ... courld move, his eyes and wings were healed! It took a lot of energy, and he was surprised the Coatl had that much to give.... the dragon tried to get him to leave, at once, but he insisted and began to explore, and they found the portal, but the Coatl wouldn't let them through! He was puzzled by this, what was this place, where did that portal lead to? The coatl seemed very protective of it, he saw its attempts at...Rebuilding the temple, and it was quiet...He decided, well, i need a place to stay..... I wanna find out about this place, and this dragon....Alright, what if we stick together? Ill help you out here, we could like...Start a little clan. The Coatl was against bringing other dragons here, but...They eventually gave in. Maybe more dragons would be a good thing...If they could hide the portal.


It took a while to gain the Coatl's trust, but once Skydancer had it, The Coatl... Showeed him the truth, and it ... Was a bit more than he could handle. You see, dragons who enter that little dimension, thats part of a much bigger one....They changed, some went mad, but Skydancer just gained ... The Ability To See Things not of this reality. This place bended reality, not everything here was able to be comprehended and understood, and there were other creatures..... It could be Dangerous. Skydancer promises safeguard this secret, and the dragon could live here in the little village they were reconstructing! Eventually, other dragons came into their circle. They were given access to this dimension, and the seemingly infinite amount of books it had....But not all of it was safe to read, it was...beyond comprehension, but it did have books lost to time! books on magic statregies and spells outside of this dimension... But Skydancer and the dragon made sure only their 11 dragons part of their inner circle, could enter and have access, but even then it was endless access, they could go mad! No... They'd have to go in with a guide. Another dragon, a friend of The Coatl, would come into play. She'd be their guide, or the coatl would be the guide. They'd protect them from creatures and....keep them from stealing, running amuck, etc.... This place wasnt the only library in the astral, there were endless, this one does connect to many others....So this is why its so guarded and protected by the coatl and the obelisk

Skydancer, The Coatl, and the Obelisk, and the Council of the 11th, run and maintain the town, the temple, and the temple's own library, its a welcome little viillage for dragons from all over!


They got a little messed up and tainted/corrupted by the Unearthly Library



Now, well. He's always surrounded by this strange red mist...



but then sometimes he can get REAL funky!
