Nixxus

Named/based after a personal character of mine, near and dear to my heart, who's story ends poorly. I adore him and this Veilspun made my brain go: "This. This is him. There is no better to represent him." Thank you MissyZero. I'm going to cherish him.

*His hair changes color the more Light magic he absorbs, becoming more blonde the longer he remains in a charged environment, and reverting back to a bright red when "equalizing." He has a severe deficiency of magic, causing him to slowly be dying by this deficit. Due to his body's ambient draining of magic from anything around him (yes, even other dragons), Nixxus has lived much longer than anyone has anticipated.

*Peppers are his favorite snack, the hotter the better.

*He keeps adopting children, wanting to provide them a better life than the hand they've been dealt. They are the closest thing to a family Nixxus has, with Jupiter (dragon coming soon?) the one claiming Nixxus as his true father, not Jupiter's biological father.

*Nixxus' own family hadn't known how to help their son, desperately trying to find a cure or stopgap for him to live more than the half-life he was destined for. The only thing they could find in the short time frame available to them was gladiatorial combat, where magic flew with careless abandon and any kind of healing magic was almost free. However, Nixxus was swiftly isolated by the proprietors and his family unable to save him from their accidental abandonment.

*When Archeus (coming soon?), got an anonymous letter about a drake with no magic defeating enemies of the highest caliber years later, he went to investigate. Nixxus impressed the Imperial and was swiftly snapped up to be a personal guard and companion for the clan's "Archangel".

*This works out for Nixxus as Archeus is overwhelmingly filled with Light, pouring the element from his very cells. Well... perhaps not a perfect fix. An excess of something, even if beneficial, can cause harm after a while.
