As he flew into the sun's first light, the gorgeous rays surrounded him, and he was stunned by it's beauty.
The beauty of the first light was overwhelming, and he floated there in awe as he watched his scales turn from Pink to shiny Maize, his wings turned from a mossy green into a sun kissed Caramel, and his turquoise shine to rose.
Verzeihen spent what felt like ages flying around the sky with the sun by his side on that day. And when he finally returned home, his parents were astonished to see the radiance of the first light upon his scales.
From that day forward he spent his days greeting the sun every morning at first light, and flew by its side till the sun set each evening. He became known far and wide as the dragon who brought the sunrise and the sunset.
When in fact he was merely the sun's best companion.
