Dalia is immensely adept at adapting her personality to the situation at hand, and has a strong intuition. Many dragons are embarrassed to reveal the causes of injuries they obtained, especially those caused by clumsiness or from weaker foes, and her abilities serve her well as she tries to figure out the cause of a problem so that she can most effectively cure it. The Coatl values confidentiality, and keeps information gleamed from her patients to herself. Her most difficult patient is Nyx, even after Dalia discovered her secret. Despite the Mirror's clear baggage, Dalia finds herself developing fondness for her beyond what she had expected. But she beats those feelings back with a stick constantly. Her ability to shape her personality as needed has come at a cost, however. Dalia feels as if she is constantly fake, and has lost her true personality along the way. As a result, she keeps to herself for the most part, preferring to avoid friendships and especially gatherings, in which she fears others may realize her personality shifts and label her as fake or manipulative. She knows that the information she has from Nyx's visits to her gives her a position of power over the Mirror, and despite her feelings, she knows that this power would make Nyx uncomfortable, and therefore refuses to make even eye contact outside of the clan infirmary. |
