Life in the Nature domain isn't always about new beginnings. The thing about the natural world is things die. Whether in a day or a century, they pass on, and leave in their wake a chance for new life to spring up. Crimson knows this, has seen it frequently in her own life, and plays her part in it faithfully.

First impressions of Crimson are often misleading. A Gaoler of deep, brilliant red hues, she stands out among the greenery she grew up in. And yet she walks among them in perfect comfort, in part due to the trail of mushrooms left in her wake. The fast growing fungi can be found clinging to the spikes protruding from her skin, or tucked beneath the classic thick mane of Gaolers. As she travels through the forest, spores fall from her hide and land on the ground, quickly growing to near harvestable size in a matter of moments. Tracking Crimson is not a difficult feat, as the mushrooms follow her everywhere she goes.

Though quite unintentional, Crimson helps the ecosystem renew as she moves. Mushrooms are natural decomposers, and the flurry of fungi Crimson leaves in her wake means there is very little dead matter that is not fed on by the mushrooms. Despite playing a key but almost gruesome role in life, Crimson is not an unkind dragon. In fact, she tends to be quite affable, if not a little odd and whimsical at times. With a halting speech pattern and slightly outdated choice of diction, it can be difficult to understand Crimson, but those who put the effort in are rewarded by a loyal and kind friend.
