Biography
A little Fae borne of wind wanders into the damp glade. He looks around wildly, as a child filled to the brim with curiosity. Scampering about the undergrowth, anything was worth stopping for a sniff. Beetles, ferns, a paw... a paw? A small, fluffy grey paw was outstretched from under a bush. The Fae pushed into the wild hedge, to be met nose-to-nose with a smiling poodle. Havoc yips a greeting to the little Fae, "Welcomes to your new home!" then leads the tiny dragon deeper into the lands of the clan with no name.
Delicate and discreet, Calm is the ultimate gentledragon. He holds quiet conversations with his stoat familiar about politics and polite society, earning the attentions of the more powerful dragon families who wish for him to teach their younglings about his civilized ways. He is well-versed in etiquette and his immaculate manners assure no dragon ever feels slighted in his company, even if he is slighting them.
When Calm arrived, all the dragons in the nameless clan turned out to welcome him to his new home. As the poodle Havoc led the tiny Fae hatchling into the heart of their family, an unruly orange Coatl pushed his way forward and shoved his face into the baby's, faceted eyes swirling and reflecting bright pinpoints of the swampy sun overhead. "Hello, new pretty thing," Riot greeted the baby. "You are such appealing colors! I feel," he rudely yelled with a smile, "that we will become the best of friends!"
Chaos took a deep breath, ready to intervene (yet again) in the interactions of the clan's official ambassador, but the tiny Fae gave a demure smile and ducked his head as he extended a gossamer wing and accepted a gentle kiss to the wingtip. As Riot spent more time around the little dragonling, the clan noticed he acted with less pomposity and more empathy.
