The children of Akarui and Merlin are intelligent and have high magical proficiency. They often specialize in healing the wounded or briefly enhancing speed or strength. It is rare for a hatchling of this pair to be born with combat magic, but this does doesn't mean they can't learn it. These hatchlings are usually covered in a downy fluff, which may molt into full feathers as they age.
The children of Akarui and Gahanael are born adventurers. From the moment they hatch, it is difficult to keep them from wandering away and getting lost. As they get older, however, they are excellent way finders and can navigate even the most confusing of tunnels. These hatchlings are typically more dull in color, with brighter coloring being quite rare.
The children of Akarui and Atino love to garden and exist among nature. Many are born with the ability to shrink themselves very small and fit inside the buds of flowers for a nap. This is very troublesome when they are hatchlings. As they get older, they learn magic which enhances plant growth, and are often very protective over the flora they care for. These hatchlings mostly come in shades of purple, and their wings feel delicate like the petals of a flower.

these kids like to help build cities (or take it on all my themselves) and protect said cities. they are massive and leave their home city as soon as they start to get too big. no matter which breed a hatchling is born as, they all have the guardian's instinct to find their charge and protect it. this means that, unlike their father, they will eventually leave the cave, unfurl their wings, and see the world.

The children of Akarui and Kage are powerful and fiercely independent. Unlike their parents, they do not need to rely on others to keep their magic stable. Despite this, there is a strong sense of kinship among the siblings, as they often stick together after they leave home. Those that are alone often visit or keep tabs on their siblings. Having been born from polar opposite forces, they are often very ugly.(rarely going to breed for lore reasons)

When angry, although rare, she has been known to completely change her personality. It appears as though the sweet and calm dragon all the clan members knew and loved evaporated in an instant. Luckily for her clanmates, she calms down quite quickly with a few quiet and awkward words from her mate, Kage.
