If Alma is the quiet, stout strength of the clan, Taishan is the mouthpiece and energy. A clever dragon with sharp claws and a sharper wit, he is at the forefront of recruitment efforts, hunting, organization, and spending. He is also the one dragon to whom Alma speaks with any regularity, and it is usually he who delivers her proclamations unto the clan.

He has a bit of the seer's gift and is frequently beset with visions of both dragons and beastkin who will be involved in the clan's future, who he then goes out of his way to meet and invite to the Intersection, even if that meeting be several generations in the future. It's an unusual gift for a Light dragon, to be sure, but one he doesn't question overmuch: his whole personality eventually drove him from his breed's usual roving pack system to a life of relatively relaxed scholarship, so what's a few dream visions on top of that?
