Olenar is one of the many reanimated fossils from The Canyons. He chose to use his knowledge of the past for the good, and help the excavations to find the remainings of old civilizations. He's usually grumpy and distant. It's really hard to get to know him due to his solitary nature. He likes the modern society and it's people, but life in the past taught him to be though, and not let strangers get too close. Olenar also likes to spend time alone at the forest, studying how life has evolved into what he feels like a completely alien world.

Olenar is constantly haunted by visions of his past of his brother, which he never mentions to people. When others try to approach him during one of his flashback moments, he always dismisses them. He specially hates feeling weak in the presence of others. Truth is that Olenar wonders if his brother also survived the passage of time like him, or if he was buried and forgotten forever along with everything Olenar knew. He spends nights awake working on maps and books, studying ancient tomes.
