Sockeye is excited and positive, but has trouble expressing her feelings and empathizing with others at times.

Sockeye's egg was found by Wyome while he was taking a walk on a beach bordering his clan's territory. He and his partner Quarry took care of the egg alongside their own, but when it hatched, they passed her on to two other dragons in the clan who had not been able to conceive yet. Soon after reaching adulthood however, those parents passed on, and now Sockeye lives and works alongside her mate as the clan's chief magic users. Her focus is on healing magic while theirs is on battle magic. She grew up very close with the clan leaders' daughter Whirlwind.
