The region around the Lanternlight Clan's village is home to many spirits, one of which is an elderly pearlcatcher known only as the Colonel. He rarely speaks and instead patrols the area in silence, accompanied at times by his spectral hound, Zelda. This reclusive nature means his identity is largely unknown, but he's known to be a benevolent spirit who has made it his goal to keep watch over the clan's village. It seems likely that he lived in the village in life, long before it was abandoned and then occupied by the Lanternlight Clan.
