____________________________________________ Hiraeth is restless. He's always on the move, determined to fill out his first and only goal on his bucket list: to travel across Sornieth. He's also extremely stubborn, so talking him out of this trip-of-a-lifetime will be about as successful as debating with a rock. Hiraeth says the reason for his travels is for fun and exploration, which isn't false. But there is a greater calling - he feels it in his chest, tugging on his heart, asking him to find it. What it is, he does not know, and he keeps this to himself; Hiraeth is an awful liar and secret-keeper, but this is one he can hide. Still, he is loyal, hard-working, fearless, and determined. Hiraeth is a jack of all trades, and he will happily use his myriad of skills to help any hospitable clan he stops by. Leaving home was a bit harder than I thought. The Astronomy Clan was nice, but I never felt like I was supposed to stay there. There's something greater, something bigger, calling to me. It's telling me to leave to find it, but I don't know what it is, or what it wants, or even if it's a good idea...
No! No no no, I shouldn't worry about that now. Right? I quite literally just left!
I've passed the edge of the snowy woods on the outskirts of Astronomy's territory and am making my way through the snow. I'm not exactly sure where I'm heading... I really should have grabbed a map.

I wasn't sure where exactly to go first, so I headed for Lanternlea Port, and from there found a cheerful inn. The Sunbeam Lanternhouse, it's called. Its residents were friendly and really encouraged me to kick back and relax. The sentiment was appreciated, but I really wanted to make myself useful. And their leader took me up on my offer: Helen put me to work assisting Renat with a survey taking soil samples. It was interesting work, but I'm not sure it's my calling.
