Laffytaffy was never fond of forced loyalty to the gods. While many of his father's children shunned the chaos of the Circus and drifted towards the devout paths of former gods and idols, Laf found himself less trusting of their goodwill, most certainly not worthy of his time. Rather, he chose to follow the Circus of Mirror's across all borders of Sornieth along with Marquis's traveling troupe. Laf wouldn't take part in circus antics though. He chose to study the arts of sparring, of walking in shadows and striking first. All things his mother was most skilled at. Laf often followed her into the un-scouted lands in front of the troupe. Marquis may be his father, but Laf shunned he bright lights and showmanship of the circus-ring, and preferred being part of the gears that kept the circus running. And safe.

Specialising in stealth, agility and poisons, Laf actually spend a lot of time with the Skydancers that make up the circus's apothecary. Spending so much time on the ground leads one to be self sufficient, and hostile lands often call for hostile approaches.
