You have come from far away, as have I. There is much to learn here, I see. If I can learn all there is to know about this place... perhaps it can benefit my children back home.

Drelys, Goddess of Light, Queen of the Sun and its Rays, ruler of Kindrel and the Elves.
Born from the light of mankind's first flame, Drelys is radiant and calm, wise and knowledgeable. Clothing her radiant form in a dark hood to shield mortals from its brightness, her dance moves the sun across the sky. Her personal plane houses all knowledge, all history, every single scrap of information that she has gathered over nearly 500,000 years of existence. It spans dozens of miles, and also acts as an observatory, from which she can watch the sun as it rises and sets.
Being the first of the mortal-born gods, closely followed by her sister, Achmari, and her brother, Tal, she has slotted into such a role in an exemplary manner, acting poised, calm, welcoming, and connected, as she observes all beneath her rays. However, her rivalry with her brother Tal often can cloud her judgement, leading to uncharacteristically callous actions, especially in her past. Thankfully, for the most part, she has grown past such immature behavior, though Tal still despises her.
Sharing the role of de-facto heads of the pantheon with Kragg, the god of earth, Drelys has much on her shoulders, governing a collection of literal gods... which is why she often doesn't, electing to focus on her studies and her people, rather than the petty squabbles of the other deities. This can annoy Kragg at times, but he's shouldered much more before.
For this reason, one would not expect the oldest and wisest god to wish to associate with the youngest and the most foolish, but her friendship with Lobolg started very early in the youngest deity's life. She elected to tutor him in the ways of godhood, as well as on how the machinations of the cosmos and universe work... something the other gods neglected to teach him, out of fear, frustration or disgust.
Her people, the Elves, live in lush rainforests, where the sun is barely visible from between the branches and leaves. They construct grand treehouses in hopes of being in her light for longer, and curate ponds with intricately-cared for lotuses in honor of her.
