Nytus was one of the very first Laospí together with Kaho, his nestmate and parentless sister. He's the lead hunter-gatherer, even through his massive change-- it is simply the core of his being. The Plaguebringer has rewarded him for his commitment and called him to replace the Laospí Plaguespeaker as Her personal mouthpiece. Nytus agreed, but only if he could keep hunting; She agreed and took one of his heads as Her own. It lies dormant until She wishes to speak, and then She takes command of the head and spits forth prophecies in a dark and tearing voice.

★★★ PERSONALITY

Nytus is as classic a mirror as you could ask for. Energetic, social-centric, and entirely devoted to the Plaguebringer. He revels in his job as primary hunter and is perfectly content in not leading, and keeps himself willfully oblivious to the politics between members. The only particular cares he has are for Kaho, Nidi, Bellatrix, and Xiaoping.

★★★ HISTORY
Nytus was one of the very first Laospí together with Kaho, his nestmate and parentless sister. The pair thought themselves above the need for numbers, declaring themselves The Survivors. Well, cut to three weeks later and the pair were devoid of ego, struggling to survive in the harsh Contagion Plains. On the brink of starvation, they were found by an older Gaoler, who agreed to lead and care for them when they pleaded with her. Thus, the Laospí Clan was born.
Time passed pleasantly for Nytus, simple and satisfying. He became the lead hunter-gatherer, a seat on the council as a diverse voice, and courted another young mirror named Nidi. Life was good, unhurried, until one day Alii, the devious alchemist, came to him in excitement. He claimed he had seen a pearlcatcher fall into the Wyrmwound they were passing and she was blessed by the Plaguebringer, swimming in the virulent goop without harm, but then she grew tired and got marooned. He suggested Nytus take his best warriors and go on a rescue mission, potentially gaining a new member and showing his devotion to his goddess. Nytus ignored any intuitive skepticism and agreed, gathering up several of his most capable friends and colleagues and venturing to the Wyrmwound with Alii as their guide.
