PERSONALITY
Valormane is a calm, relaxed dragon with a strong inclination to tranquility. His favorite way to spend the day is sorting the hoard over a cup of sweetened tea, the hotter the better. Like most Tundras, Valormane is plagued by a poor memory. He remedies this by writing many notes that he tacks all over the walls of the vault, as well as depending upon his scent-memory. His system hasn't failed him yet, although he sometimes leaves the den covered in sticky pieces of paper he's forgotten about.
He's a patient, passive dragon, and while his name suggests a stalwart soldier, he's more of a pacifist. While he will defend himself, and other members of the clan (that's what those big canines are for on a herbivore), he always prefers a non-hostile solution. Valor is frequently called in to mediate between bickering clan members, and does so with grace. It's a benefit that he has such a poor memory, as it is hard for him to play favorites if he doesn't recall who you are.
Since the hoard doesn't eat up all of his time, the rest of it is commonly spent reading, knitting, or sorting through his collectables. He also loves any activity that remains in view and doesn't involve strategy (since he'll forget what he was doing). He is the master at jigsaw puzzles. Having grown up in a land with so little in terms of vegetation, he's become an avid gardener, and grows several fruits, berries, and tubers that are welcome treats and additions to the clan's food stores.
Valor is an excellent father, being present with his brood from the moment they hatched. He would frequently confuse their names, but his children are one of the few things that stood out in his memory. While most of his hatchlings have grown and left the nest to serve the Gladekeeper, he does his best to remember them. Luckily, Emberwing has an excellent memory, and reminds him frequently.
It is important not to mistake his gentle nature for weakness or an unwillingness to fight. Having been raised on the Snowsquall Tundra, he is accustomed to hardship. Valor detests confrontation because of what it can grow to become, and how that hostility can lead to unnecessary loss of life. However he will not hesitate to fight for those he cares about. After years of digging through permafrost to find lichen and other hardy vegetation, he has powerful claws, strong jaws, and a thick coat that absorbs most strikes.

HISTORY
Valor doesn't remember his parents, but he does recall he was given a courageous name hoping it would create a courageous dragon. As a hatchling, Valormane had zero interest squabbling with his siblings, and instead explored the vast region his family called home. He befriended passive critters that lived in the harsh environment, and when pushed, would rather flee than fight, preferring avoidance to potential injury, which on the Snowsquall could lead to death. Once he came of age, he decided to leave his birth clan's home, and traveled to find a place that smelled comfortable.
Along the way, he bumped into Emberwing (literally), who was on a search for her Charge. Completely perplexed as to what the larger dragon was up to, he bid her farewell and continued wandering. Over time, Valor realized he was being followed. It was the same Guardian as before. Or it would have been if he hadn't all ready forgotten her.
They traveled together for weeks, with Emberwing frequently reminding him of her name and vague purpose. It wasn't until they reached the Viridian Labyrinth with its peaceful waterways, teeming flowers and fruit trees that Valormane realized he'd found his new home.
He was startled to find a current occupant in his space, and not wishing to be rude, asked politely if they'd like to join him for a meal. It was Emberwing of course, and they went through the courteous introductions as if meeting for the first time. However this introduction stuck: Valormane recalled Emberwing, and her new Charge of protecting him as well as any others they would take under-wing.

Apparel:
I really have no idea what apparel there is out there, so let's say: Any apparel associated with stars, flowers, butterflies, comfort, rustic, and the like. I also like blues, greens, earth tones, Nature-themed stuff, and crystal/metallic/elegant stuff. If it looks neat, I'll adore it.
Honestly, I plan to look into apparel specifics (amongst other things) on a dragon-by-dragon basis. Check my individual dragon projects below :-)
General Ideas:
- Any of the starsilks
- Anything regarding reptiles, amphibians, or birds
- Armor, especially the Filigree armor sets
- Any of the Night of the Nocturne stuff as I am always busy during the event (2020-2022 at least :S)
Accents & Skins:
Ringmaster
Wind's Calling
The End of All Roads CW: Bones, Rot
Grave Omen CW: Bones
Spooky Scary Tundra CW: Bones (cartoony)
Familiars:
Any undiscovered familiar is welcome. I'm keen on collecting any of the Fiona's Feat Familiars, especially the ones that come from Swipp as I've had poor luck with him.
Only thing to note is: Familiars with pronounced eyeballs (I.e. any nekomata, axe mimic, all seeing eye, portal watcher, the tea set fams) make me uncomfortable.
Welcome Anytime:
1) Any and all art, lore ideas, or anything creative would absolutely flatter me!
2) Any vista! (I currently have: Baldwin's Brew, Broken Spear, Conjurer's Hat, Crystal Pools, Crystalline Gala, Earthshaker, Forgotten Cave, Fungi, Gossamer Flame, Practice Weapons, Redrock Cove, Sandswept Delta, Scorched Forest, Spectral Shroud, Stagcrest and Tidelord)
3) Any scene!
4) Any eye vial except for Multigaze (I appreciate it, but MG gives me heebie-jeebies)
5) Any type of egg!
6) I'm rubbish at dressing dragons, so if you find an outfit scry that resonates with any of mine (especially my progenitors, Imperials and my Coliseum team), I'd love to see it!
7) I can always use renaming scrolls. I have terrible timing and never catch them on the marketplace.
8) I love lore projects! If you want to establish story lines, friendships, pairs, pen pals, road trip buddies, partners-in-crime, or whatnot between clans, let me know!
9) I have a Coliseum battle-dragon problem. And this problem requires battle stones as a solution. I'm always on the lookout for all stones, since I love making new dragons and experimenting with the different abilities, but the usual suspects are: Eliminate, Haste, Rally, Berserker, Ambush, Scholar, Aid, Regeneration, and Discipline. Prismatic, themed, or other recolors of the various abilities are fun and received with enthusiasm! :-)
10) Food!

3) Kokiri has an outfit goal on her, as do most of my Coliseum dragons. Some of my Coli warriors are more developed in terms of projects than others, but you'll find dragons of all kinds in there. Poor Shimmerscale has his claws full keeping them organized
4) Baby scrolls & innocent eyes! The candidates for permababies can be found here! I'm especially keen on getting ones for Fortune, Oleander, and Tesla.
5) Copernicus the intrepid adventurer is looking for the perfect outfit. It must match his very fine hat, and be durable, fashionable and functional while raiding tombs and finding artifacts!
