The clan of Oak and Bone is a collection of dragons that all understand the balance of growth and decay. The Shrieking Wilds is one of the more chaotic spaces within the Virdian Labyrinth and while many imagine the territories of Nature flight to be pristine and safe, the Wilds are certainly neither.

While all dragons may not have originated from Nature flight, they've all come together to work as a cohesive unit, helping one another to survive while also respecting the realities of nature and time.



O r i g i n

The clan was formed by Valormane and Emberwing. The unlikely pair chanced upon one another during their travels, and together established a territory in the Shrieking Wilds.

Both dragons were born in harsh environments, experiencing trials that shaped them into dragons determined to survive.

Valormane, despite his Nature affinity hailed from a barren homeland, where there was minimal food and fierce competition.

Emberwing grew up along the coast where food was always plentiful but often plagued by a strange red algae that caused great sickness and death to her clan.

Once they'd taken their places as patriarch and matriarch, they made their goal to aid those under their protection in the task of survival, and ensure that no one ever goes hungry.

So arose the clan of Oak and Bone.

Nature isn't always birth and growth; it is cyclical, and all roads must end. This clan respects that balance, and while they fight hard to keep their clan healthy and strong, they understand the inevitability of what will come. Their goal is survival.

They yearn to establish positive relations with the Plague flight, which has been tenuous since the destruction of the Armistice.

As a result, several members of the clan are prevalent dragons from the Plague flight, bringing in valuable knowledge and perspective.

Emberwing works with them, desperate to understand the strange sickness that has afflicted her birth flight.

With Valor being the optimist, and Ember the realist, both dragons come together to provide a guiding claw to their charges. They provide on-going support to all that live with them, willing to train even the weakest hatchling until they can be a valued and contributing member.

Valor is the soft voice who aims for comfort and patience, having a gentle paternal warmth to his leadership, with Emberwing being patient, yet direct and austere. They are balanced in this way and are well-respected by their clan members.







Valormane holds the wishlist. He's the most organized out of all the dragons, as long as you don't mind a tuft of Tundra fluff amidst it all.

You'll find my Lore/Canonical dragons here, as well as the cautiously accepted Plague Corps here. Think of the rest in my lair as extras. They're part of the clan but they're not primary players.

I also have hibernating permanent Lore dragons, including my Progens and their associated friends and family here.

Lumi takes care of all the cats from the Blanket Fort of Ends. She adores their soft kitty-warm kitty selves, even if she's a little frigid.
