hey there! you're lost, right? or, uh... did you mean to get here? well... here, come on, man, let me help you get your bearings. i'm probably the only chatty folk around these parts, most everyone else doesn't want to be disturbed, plus, y'know, my parents don't really know common draconic too well. so... just hang with me for a bit, and i'll get you on your way, alright?



right now, you're in the rosebed, sorta just a stone's toss from where the wild sanctum's all set up, if that's where you meant to go? mostly just people looking for safe nests away from the hustle and bustle of bigger places, plus my parents, and all these flowers. kinda touristy this time of year, but it's not too bad, y'know?



who? ... oh, wait, the gallicanae clan! that's that real small clan that bounces around here and the library, right? yeah, i've heard of them - sorta wanderers like you, right? well, rimmy'd know way more about them than i would, but i know where he is, so i could send you his way! dude's got plenty of stories about them he could tell you.



never really heard of the library, huh? well, the library of the dawnwalker's pretty important in this stretch, so if you're gonna be here, you might wanna brush up. diamonds knows some of them alright, he could show you out there. he's kinda creepy, but i swear, he's not too bad most of the time! plus, quiet fella like you, i think would get along alright with him.

if i'm being honest, though, library wasn't always just, well, a library. it's kinda creepy, how much of it is abandoned... if you wanna get kinda unnerved, the weird little quiet guy who swings by every now and again knows the place in and out. hey, if you find anything out, tell me, alright? i'd love to scare the pants offa the next batch of tourists who come through here!

i mean, i already got a really good one. there's this old studio, right? glassworkers used to go there real often. nowadays, though? nobody goes there. creepy insect fae dudes shack up there, all talking creepy about circles and stuff. i heard if you go there, you don't come back, heehee.... but that's totally nonsense in case you were wondering. i know a fella who hangs there all the time! i could get you hooked up with him, they're actually pretty alright, haha.

if you're worried about travelling to and from... don't be! we've got some hired swords who'll escort you wherever you wanna go and such. we'll see them with this really odd lookin' tiny guy, or all those performers, or that really creepy coatl... but i basically know nothing about them. if you're looking for them here, sorry, you're outta luck. well... maybe not quite. there is this one guy who knows about them, but he's... kinda hard to pin down. i'll put the good word out there, though! maybe he'll find you?





what else... oh, wait. be careful. there's this, uh... thing, out there. it's mostly safe, i don't think i've heard of it ever attacking folk, but... um, be safe. if some of the things it talks about are true, one emperor's trenches isn't the only thing you gotta worry about around here... i'll see it occasionally scoping out this one spot in particular... spooky cave, by the edge of the wispwillow. you could scope that out, maybe, see who hangs around? you might get some luck around there.
