This library, this library, so strange, so solitary... We didn't think something devoted to knowledge could be so backwards, so disillusioned, so dedicated to the past instead of the present..! We love the library, though, we love it. The library showed us the colony, let us hear its voices, and we are happy for the opportunities to research, to look, to see and find..! We want to know more, even more, both we and the colony, but... Things were different before we could hear it, weren't they... we were... what were we..? A... doctor? We... well, we aren't good at remembering, we never have been, and the spiral makes it so easy to get distracted. Even so, the present, the present is what is important...

We protect the colony, protects its voice, yes. We were almost assimilated, but they knew, they knew the library, so we are safe. Changed, we were changed, but we are safe. And we are so strange, now, but different isn't bad, different can be good, and we can hear so much more than we could before we heard it's call... Now, we hear its call, but we hear so much more, too. We hear another call, a call so strong, so hard to ignore... ah, there are so very many things that we need to learn about, that we need to write about, and we can't tarry at all...!
