Xever

Son of Jonqui, the cunning Imperial who serves as the Winterling's hidden teacher of assassins, grandson of the founders Nighte and Mercor, Xever had a lot to live up to in his early years. He was raised by a mother who has guile in her bones, and he inherited no small part of her smooth talk and sharp wits. Perhaps this was what drew him to fall in love with Eon, a Nocturne dragon from the Riptide clan, who was staying in the Winterling lair to 'foster closer relations' between the two. Though he seldom sees his lover these days, Eon is first in his heart, and he cherishes the two nests he's been able to have with her.

Xever's paternal line shows in his undying loyalty to his mate and his clan, and he serves as part of the Winterling diplomatic core under their leader Ramila.
