Biography



the older of the two nightmares, Deimos is perhaps the darkest dweller in the dreamer's den. He never seems to sleep or so much as close his eyes, the inky jet that leaks from his eyes pulsing in frigid veins across his body. He is the feeling of falling right before you jolt awake, the sense of déjà vu as you turn the corner in some eternally winding lair, the creeping fear as you find yourself abandoned in the forest -- the looming unsettle that comes with unpleasant dreams. While he's not harmful, his addition to the dreamscape is far from appreciated by most creatures, which has lead to him being a rather solitary creature. His brother's nightmares are far more... pleasant, and he seems to have a flock of followers for that reason. Deimos is far from jealous, seeing the tiredness lurking in Phobos' gait from time to time, taking him under his wing when the pearlcatcher is tuckered out. He has all the company he needs.









tl;dr he's old and people see him as evil, but he's mostly just tired and will keep you company
