She’s a pixie, but don't let her hear you call her that. She is a fairy just as much as anyone else, thank you very much! She may not have a “face” or be larger than a mushroom, but it doesn’t matter. She is still a fairy.

She lives in the castle with the royals, providing important magical services. Namely, she keeps the food cold until it’s ready to be cooked. It’s a very important job, being a freezer! Not just anyone is trusted to do it— they must be loyal, and willing to risk their lives, since if any food turns up poisoned, it will eventually trace back to her.

In return for her services, she is allowed free roam of the castle and use of all its utilities. Few are allowed within the walls, let alone free reign of the place. However the trust placed in her from dealing with food preparation extends here (not to mention the powerful spells in place to prevent spying).
