Paraiba is the original owner of the Spriggan Hearth Lair and the reason Sprig decided to stay in Ashfall in the first place. Paraiba had been living alone for many years, aside from the company of his Tourmaline familiar. It wasn't until an outing for food did he find the small group of dragons that Sprig was leading. As a long leading resident of Ashfall, Paraiba thought it would only be polite to offer any assistance. The Guardian, Astaroth, hissed in defense at the stranger, until he made it clear he was no threat to her charge and the hatchlings.

Sprig confessed later on, to Paraiba's amusement, that she thought he was an angel, coming to their aid after her mate's passing. She certainly believes his timing was in good faith regardless, and thanks Flamecaller and Gladekeeper alike for sending him. Because of his size, his lair was expanse and easily fit the group of dragons. Though, because of Sprig's welcoming nature more and more joined their Clan, not that Paraiba minded the company. His lair held the entire clan until their great move to Lightweaver's domain.

All in all, he's very grateful for the path his life took. It is, albeit, a noiser one but it is one full of heart and home. What was an ice dragon doing in the Fire Flight territory? Paraiba would only respond "for a different view."
