Squiggles

A cheerful Bogsneak that was created out of a cauldron. Unlike most created Bogsneaks, he didn't solidify all the way, and is still partially made of goop. Deeper down, he has normal flesh, but his skin, most of his wings, and some of the tissue below it is made out of alchemical slime, and his belly contains a thin layer of liquid in front of his organs and behind the clear, gel-like underbelly skin. Because of his unusual body, Squiggles is less strong than a normal dragon and is poor at balancing and moving quickly, but he's okay with not being athletic. His skin is also less sensitive to pain.

He works as an assistant in a research lab affiliated with Amber’s library, specifically in the biology department. He has to wear gloves and full-cover clothes at work so that he doesn’t get his goo on the experiments.

Despite his cheerful and bubbly personality, Squiggles is uncomfortable socializing with too many other dragons, and hides away out of anxiety when large social events happen. He is very loyal to his close friends. Amber is one such friend, as are some of the other dragons in the lab. His bookworm plushie was giving to him by Amber, and it is a comfort item for him; he loves hugging it and carrying it around, especially when he feels nervous.

Prefers he/him pronouns, but is also good with they/them, as they don't have too much of an attachment to gender. Squiggles got his name from looking at a dictionary and finding a word that he liked. (aka: I used the random name generator on FR)

Squiggles enjoys playing with Baldwin reagents such as sludge, slime, and ooze. He often will do strange things, such as serving weird food to his friends or playing pranks on them; however, this is always out of naivety and harmless mischief, not malice. He has an affinity for strange organisms and weird objects and phenomena, especially if they're related to science or alchemy like he is.

The patterns on his body and wings are body art created by putting dye and decorations in his gel-like flesh. The decorations are non-permanent. He wears prosthetic wing attachments to be able to fly, since his wings are too soft, small, and sludgy for him to fly on his own. Even with the attachments, he can only fly or glide for a very short amount of time, like a chicken.
