Xifelyran

Xi'fely'ran is quiet and watchful, distancing himself from others as best as he can in case the beast within awakens. He doesn't want to hurt others...it just comes so naturally to him, and his alternate personality doesn't help. The reason he first began to wear his lupine cape was as a warning - to make a symbol for others to fear and flee from. That way, there was a chance they could escape before blood was spilled. So far it hasn't been the most effective, but Xi holds out hope that he will one day be left in peace, both by other dragons and his alter ego.

When the beast awakens within him, Xi'fely'ran is brutal and fierce, causing rampant destruction wherever he goes. No one is safe from his insatiable hunger, and even the worst creatures avoid him when he is at his most bloodthirsty.

Strangely enough, he nurses a deep hatred for his mother in both forms.

With the evil incarnate as a mother, it's obvious Xi never had a happy childhood. Despite being born in Arcane territory, his eyes gleamed like freshly spilled blood and glowing runes traced dark spells along his scales. Resigned to his differences, Xi hid away in the dark corners of the WolfHouse, living alongside the darkest abominations that walked the Basements of the sprawling manor. His mother acted like he didn't exist, only helping him once to escape a nasty scrape with Pythia. But as payment for her aide, Xi'fely'ran had to consent to a cursed ritual.

His memories of the ritual are foggy, but he knows that the presence now roiling within his mind was not there before. Xi does his best to resist the bloodthirsty cravings he now undergoes, but every so often they overcome him and he goes on the hunt....
