Biography

3MbyEJZ.png S I A R L
CLAN LEADER &&. HOLANTHRUS&&. ETC.
Siarl had left home at a young age, staying not too far from home, but not too fond of the clan life style. He wanted his alone time, elbow room, space to roll around in his own horde and not have to worry about small children biting at his ankles or gnawing on his things. Just he, himself, and Siarl. The snapper had found a simple den to start his own life in, spending most of his time out and about anyway he didn’t need the room. Siarl lived a very simple life, going out to get enough supplies for himself, then just going back to trying to sleep, then going back outside. Siarl was a simple dragon, not much for big groups or the need of companionship of the other dragons.

He carried on with his ways, simply looking for something to find meaning in his life, however there wasn’t much that seemed to catch his interest. However unlike other dragons he stayed where he was, not too worried about venturing too far and not wanting to reach out for what he wanted. It wasn’t like he was aware of what he needed in his life, so what was the point in leaving anyway? He was comfortable enough that he could rest easily knowing he would have what he needed. There was nothing around that was going to endanger him, he was safe from the beast tribes and any rogue dragons. So he stayed within his home, only leaving to go see his family on the rare occasion.

It wasn’t until years later, after having established a worthy horde, that he stumbled across a traveling snapper. She seemed exhausted and needed a place to hide out the terrible weather. Unable to turn down the needy dragon Siarl welcomed the aqua scaled female into the small den he called home. Once the woman had dried off from the rain he decided to inquire more about his current guest. She had been gathering for her supplies to build a shelter for the time being, there was not a whole lot of caves in the surrounding area, which he thought was odd. Why would she come out here if she was going to be looking for a den? The fields were open and vast, not a whole lot of good living spaces around, and any that existed where already taken up or too small for a snapper dragon like herself.

Slowly the two started to get to know one another. Being a more stationary dragon he had never ventured too far from his birth place. Holanthrus had all kinds of stories to tell him, she just kept going on and on about the places she had seen and about the orgin lands of their species and it was just amazing how much the woman could talk. And somehow, Siarl did not grow bored once. In fact they had long forgotten time as she continued to answer his few questions with a long trail of stories and adventures tacked onto them that the sun had long since set. So long in fact that it had once again rose up over the horizon.

Even though the weather had cleared up overnight Holanthrus seemed to stick around, going out to harvest more plants and seeds for their meals and all the while never stopping her mouth. She just kept talking, and normally Siarl would have grown tired of such antics, but there was something about the glint in Holi’s eye that just captivated him. The way she went on and on about silly things just somehow managed to hold his attention in a way that no one had ever been able to. A perfect stranger, and he was completely invested in her. Wanting to keep her around longer than anyone else, wanting to put her in his horde and never let her go. She was perfect in ways that he didn’t even think were something he would be fond of. And there was something in him that she must have found interesting, or she would not have stayed. Or at least that was his logic. And he was luckily not far off.

The days turned to weeks and the months turned to years. The two had found what they were both looking for. And they had found it in each other.
