There is a pale dragon. She watches us, but does not report back to her matriarch.
The matriarch has shown no hostility, yet.
But we must still be patient. This pale dragon may yet be a danger. We must be on our guard.
We must expand.
We must grow.
We need more.

We have gained an assimilator. It will be a valuable asset to the hive.
However, we are more concerned with the clan.
If they spot the assimilator, concern will grow.
We must keep it in the back tunnels until needed.
However, the pale dragon is still watching. She seems not to be a danger.
But we must watch, still.
And wait.
...
Or perhaps...
We can use this clan to our advantage.

This hive has born another assimilator, and this time, not one who has come from an outside source.
We can feel their brain, small and insignificant, clicking neatly against ours like a well-oiled gear. Their sibling, also hive born, adds to our collective consciousness.
This is good, but...
Still the pale dragon watches. And we fear that another does as well.
It is imperative that we gain the clan’s trust...
The pale dragon may be the avenue to it.
