Nanchun gathers edible and medicinal plant matter to be used by the clan healer. He also gathers food for clan beasts. In life. He is very precise, every movement and word is thought out before he commits to it. As such, it makes him slow to respond to people, conversations are dotted with contemplative silence. Spirals hate talking to him, because he creates great anxiety and frustration to them.

The only time he speaks his mind without over-thinking it is when he's scared, and even though he is tall and graceful is kind of easy to startle. He'll curse whoever scared him and then hang his head in regret for what he's said, even if the other person finds it hilarious.

The best to go to for advice in the region, but rarely gives it if he doesn't know the whole story. He's neutral on most things, not having strong opinions about much. There is one or two hills he will die on and those topics are the only ones he'll talk passionately about. One is probably the raising and care of Peumus boldus.

His marriage with the florist, Jayu, is in crisis at the moment, since they are so different and lack efficient communication with one another in their relationship.
